SANTA ANA, Calif. -- USC receiver commit Sebastian LaRue (Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica) thought long and hard about taking an official visit to Ohio State last weekend before deciding to stay home. In the summer, LaRue had labeled the weekend as a perfect opportunity to leave town, since Santa Monica was scheduled to play on a Thursday night, freeing up Friday as a travel day.

LaRue instead opted to put his trips on hold and focus entirely on his high school team.

"Moving forward, I might try to set up a few visits," said LaRue, who also lists Cal, Oregon State, Texas A&M and Washington State as potential trip destinations. "I'm just going to try and focus on next week's game. We need to get this bad taste out of our mouths."
