Work ethic, study puts Woods at the top

With Robert Woods named to the 2011 ESPN All-American team, let's take a look at what the sophomore receiver brings to his team and why he was picked for this great honor.

While most teams have a receiver who can beat opponents with the deep ball and another who is used more for running the quick pass because of his ability to break tackles, Woods can do both. With corners not sure whether to play off or press, both Woods and Matt Barkley took advantage of that uncertainty. If playing off, Barkley would immediately hit Woods with the "now" or "zombie," and if playing press, they'd beat them over the top.
