Trojans disappoint again

The evidence was there all along. It's just that nobody at USC wanted to believe it.

These 2012 Trojans have underachieved from the start, looking sluggish and disjointed for much of the early schedule, turning what should have been a world-class offense into a middle-class puzzle, stumbling and groping their way to the top of the college charts in only one depressing category -- penalties.

So, why were so many people shocked when a better-than-average Arizona group came from behind to squash the nation's most overrated team like some dried out cactus in the desert on Saturday?
