Spring positives and negatives

LOS ANGELES -- Spring reflections as the Trojans wrap up the 2013 spring sessions.

The offensive positives: The receiving combo of All-American junior Marqise Lee and ultra-talented sophomore Nelson Agholor is going to be dynamite. The running game looked markedly improved thanks to advancements in the physical play of the offensive line, and the quarterback competition turned out to be every bit as competitive as predicted. And for good measure, true freshman tailback Justin Davis shined and could threaten to be the No. 1 ball carrier in the fall, and fellow sophomore tailback Javorius "Buck" Allen exhibited real improvement in his game.
