Da'Shaun Barnes narrows list to five

Lincoln High in Tallahassee is loaded with talent in 2006, nothing new to the school that has produced players like Kevin Carter, Pat Watkins and Antonio Cromartie. We had a chance to talk with Da'Shaun Barnes, one of the school's top 2007 prospects. The safety/outside linebacker prospect has over 20 offers but has begun to narrow down his list. His five favorites are Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State, Florida and UCLA.

He has naturally been to hometown Florida State unofficially but has yet to make it any of his other favorites. He does plan to get out this July and check out Tennessee and Auburn.

Right now he is just training with the team and preparing for the upcoming season. "Workouts are going good, I am just trying to get a little bigger and a little faster, get ready for this upcoming season and try win a state championship with my team," Barnes said.
