Georgia Tech's class is shaping up

November, 3, 2006
Probably the most surprising team in the world of recruiting so far is Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets did not land a single ESPN 150 player in their entire 2006 class, which was a solid class but far from anything to make noise about.

This year, it seems coach Chan Gailey and his staff have stepped it up to a different level. Thursday, the Yellow Jackets added their third ESPN 150 player with the commitment of defensive end Derrick Morgan.

Morgan is an excellent addition to an already strong and aggressive Georgia Tech defense. The Coatesville, Pa., senior combines size with ability and desire and could contribute as a freshman.
