Before his Tuesday night misery at US Airways Center, Kobe Bryant transmitted a rather relaxed vibe between Games 1 and 2, chatting casually with reporters on a variety of topics.

He didn't dispute the idea that his window to win a championship is narrowing: "We definitely have to get that elite level and get to that elite level, like, now."

But then he did shoot down the idea that the extra mileage he's logged, after 11 seasons and more than 120 playoff games, made him an old 28: "When I hit 31, I'll probably be old."
