What's next for the Orioles?

Well, there's only so much they can do about their bullpen. As Knuckle Curve points out, the Orioles' "big three" relievers all have contracts that run through 2009.

I'm not sure that's the worst thing in the world, actually. While I don't believe a great deal of money should be spent on relief pitchers, because of their general fungibility, I also believe that Jamie Walker and Chad Bradford are pretty good pitchers. Yes, Danys Baez has been a disaster; eventually, we'll find out if his "forearm strain" is anything but a convenient way to get him off the 25-man roster. The other problems have been John Parrish and Chris Ray, and both are likely to pitch better than they have.
