Holmes adds to great USC O-line class

December, 3, 2007
ESPN 150 offensive lineman Khaled Holmes (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei) joined the 2008 USC recruiting class this weekend, ending months of speculation. The nation's No. 5 guard prospect attended USC's victory over cross-town rival UCLA and after the game pulled the trigger and committed to the Trojans.

Said Holmes, "I just had a great feeling all day."

The younger brother of former USC tight end Alex Holmes, many have linked Khaled to the USC program for months, but no official commitment came until this weekend. He had several schools on his list, but many felt it was only a matter of time before he committed to USC.
