Michigan's 2008 commits fit Rodriguez's system

December, 17, 2007
I cannot remember the last time I saw a football roster so ill-equipped for a coaching change than Michigan's is for Rich Rodriguez. It sounds weird to say, but he has a rebuilding job on his hands. There could be multiple current Michigan players seeking a transfer since they do not fit into the offensive or maybe even defensive scheme that Rodriguez is bringing to Ann Arbor.

Ryan Mallett running the spread? Don't think so. Scat backs? Don't have 'em at Michigan right now. Quick, agile offensive lineman who can play in space? Don't have those either. Speedy wideouts and enough of them to get into four- and five-wide sets? Maybe, but we'll have to see.
