A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports:

Nate Robinson, a rookie listed at 5 feet, 9 inches and who has had only two dunks in 50 games for the Knicks this season, was judged the winner in the NBA's annual slam dunk competition on the eve of its All-Star Game.

Four players have made more than 100 dunks this season: Carmelo Anthony (110), Shaquille O'Neal (114), Dwight Howard (121) and league leader Shawn Marion (131) -- but none of them was entered in Saturday's competition in Houston.
