Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is getting his own Fortnite tournament series.

Ninja has announced "Ninja Battles," a weekly invitational series with six events spanning from this Thursday through July 2. The total prize pool is $480,000 with $80,000 up for grabs each week.

Popular streamers such as 2019 Fortnite World Cup solos winner Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf, Soleil "Ewok" Wheeler, Nicholas "Nick Eh 30" Amyoony, Nate "NateHill" Hill and Malachi "Reverse2K" Greiner have been confirmed as participants.

The entire series will be streamed on Ninja's Mixer channel.

"I joined Mixer to push boundaries, create different types of streaming content and interact with fans in new ways," Ninja told Deadline. "Ninja Battles brings a new kind of gameplay to the community. I am excited to share this competitive experience with my fans as well as have my fellow gamers and friends participate."

Fortnite developer Epic Games has been collaborating with popular streamers and content creators in creative ways recently. Benjy "BenjyFishy" David Fish, another popular player in the Fortnite community, just launched his own Fortnite tournament, The BenjyFishy Cup. Ninja also has his own limited time skin in the game.

In terms of official competitive offerings from Epic Games, the latest installment of the Fortnite Champion Series (a solos invitational) just wrapped over the weekend, with more tournaments to follow, with the future releases of Fortnite Chapter 3 (based on solo competition) and 4 (trios).
