The Seattle Surge have added Peirce "Gunless" Hillman, Preston "Prestinni" Sanderson, and Daniel "Loony" Loza for the 2021 Call of Duty League season.

The three players will join Sam "Octane" Larew, the lone member of the 2020 Surge roster that the team decided to keep. Octane was a standout player all year despite being on one of the worst-performing teams in the Call of Duty League. Seattle finished the season in 11th place overall, tied with the 12th-place Los Angeles Guerrillas at 50 CDL points from events over the competitive season. The Seattle Surge were eliminated in the first round of the 2020 Call of Duty League Championship by the Paris Legion.
Loony was on the Toronto Ultra at the start of the 2020 season. After multiple roster moves as Toronto swapped players in and out of the starting lineup from their 10-man pool, he was benched for the majority of the competitive year. Gunless began the Call of Duty League on the Chicago Huntsmen, but was replaced in scrims first by Jordon "General" General and then later on the starting squad with the arrival of Prestinni to the Huntsmen mid-2020 season. Prestinni started this past year on the Florida Mutineers, but was benched and then made his way to the Chicago Huntsmen mid-season, re-teaming with his brother Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson. Now, Gunless and Prestinni will play side-by-side on the Surge's 2021 four-man roster.
