FLB: Chat Wrap Jan. 25

Tristan H. Cockcroft: Good morning everyone! Let's get right to your fantasy baseball questions...

Dan (Chicago, IL): I'm starting a keeper league this year. Is it okay to rank Miguel Cabrera in my top 4?

Tristan H. Cockcroft: I keep arguing that there isn't too much difference between, say, the No. 2 and No. 10 players overall in this year's draft, and in a keeper league, a case can be made for Cabrera because he's so young. Him over A-Rod? Sure, I can see that. Him over Alfonso Soriano? Same. Him over Jose Reyes? OK, maybe not, but then you might not want to build around speed, and I understand that. I'd make the best cases after Albert Pujols for Reyes, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, Carl Crawford, David Wright and Cabrera in a long-term keeper league.
