Fantasy baseball players of all kinds make tough choices every day. Whether you're locking in a DFS lineup looking for a potential 3-HR bat or need a solid innings-eater for your season-long points league to help win your matchup, you need as much information as you can get every day of the MLB season. That's where X factors comes in, using a proven projection system known as THE BAT, which uses methodologies like those employed in major league front offices to project players in each day's matchups.

We'll provide updated projections every day, so check back before setting your daily lineups.

Saturday's slate has several aces to choose from, but Gerrit Cole is the cream of the crop. Danny Duffy has been one of the pitchers hit by the worst variance this season, which makes him a great sneaky (and high upside) option against a strikeout-prone Chicago White Sox team. Trevor Richards also looks like a terrific value play. On the hitting side, Coors Field is on top. Again. The Boston Red Sox are also a great choice. Again. You can also add the Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles to the list of teams projected for at least 5 runs.
