Around this time one year ago, right-hander Blake Treinen was a forgotten man in the Washington Nationals' bullpen, buried with his bloated (but unlucky) 6.11 ERA, and he seemed far away from earning any saves after losing the role in early April. Meanwhile, right-hander Lou Trivino was handling a long relief role at Triple-A Nashville and not exactly thriving in it. Who would have guessed that these fellows would be, for June 2018 at least, two of the most valuable relief pitchers in the major leagues?
