Only Allen Iverson averaged better than 30 points per game in the 2004-05 season. In fact, he was the only player to score as many as 28 points per game, and only seven players were able to reach 25 points as an average. That seemed normal, didn't it? But was the biggest story in fantasy hoops this season, all the scoring?
The stars did come out and produce more points this season, and fantasy basketball owners enjoyed it. Kobe Bryant, Iverson and LeBron James each topped 30 points per game, and there were other breakout performances as the 2005-06 version of fantasy hoops became even more of a star search.
