Faster Pussycat frontman Taime Downe is one of rock and roll's most enduring figures. Nearly two decades after his band scored its first gold album and major hit, "House Of Pain," the hard rocker is still busy churning out new music.
Downe's band is on the verge of releasing its first album in 14 years, "The Power and the Glory Hole," which will be followed by a tour of the United States and Europe. Pussycat has survived breakups, lineup changes and ever-changing tastes in popular music. Yet they have remained a mainstay to hard rock fans who are anxiously awaiting their first album of studio material since 1992's "Whipped!"
"It's catchy and nasty, with a lot of cool riffs. Anyone who digs good rock and roll will like this album," he says.
