One of the joys in perusing the waiver wire at this time of the fantasy season is the decreased amount of competition for players who are hitting their second-half strides. Had these late bloomers performed well earlier in the year, nearly every team would be making claims for their services. That doesn't happen as much after Week 10, because many fantasy GMs start to lose interest in their non-playoff contending teams.
That is good news for coaches who want to pursue the first two players in this week's Pass Plays. They are late bloomers with extremely high stretch-run/playoff-run production potential. I also have a couple of long-shot wide-receiver picks and two tight ends who might be able to help.
