Each week, we help improve your fantasy outlook by recommending the best players to add and drop. Here are some players you should consider who are probably available on your league's free-agent list, and others you should cut loose if you need to make extra room on your roster.
Aaron Brooks, QB, Raiders (owned in 39.8 percent of ESPN.com leagues): He hasn't played since leaving early in the first quarter of the second game of the season, and he didn't look good in the opener, throwing for only 68 yards as the Raiders were shut out by the Chargers. But there are already reports that Brooks could return to the starting lineup as soon as Sunday, and that makes him worth adding. Brooks has always been erratic, but no QB could be worse than Andrew Walter has been. If Brooks suddenly helps Randy Moss return to life and delivers decent numbers while playing catch-up, he'll at least be worth a spot on your roster as a reserve.
