Hubie Brown has performed wonders in Memphis, but is it enough to earn him coach of the year honors?

Give Hubie Brown an inch and he'll set a new franchise milestone.

"I'd have to give it to him," said one NBA scout when asked who he thought was the coach of the year. "Everyone knew that he was a great teacher of the game, but the biggest difference with that team is the respect he is commanding. Sure, he can be a hard ass but look at the results."

In 1996, the franchise's first season, the Grizzlies went 15-67, losing an NBA-record 23 straight games after losing 19 in a row before that.
