McGahee has shot at first round

Less than four months removed from a devastating knee injury that had seemingly shattered any hopes of him being picked in the first round, running back Willis McGahee will work out for scouts today at the University of Miami in an attempt to show that he's first-round material. The fact that McGahee has progressed much faster than anyone could have imagined is amazing, but he's no Superman. Don't expect the former Hurricane to set any record times in the 40. "It won't be a 40, but he'll sprint and run for teams," his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told the San Francisco Chronicle. "He's going to squat, he's going to catch passes, he's going to do cadence drills to show his reaction time and dexterity. He'll show his flexibility. He'll do lunges."
