This is a short piece by Gordon Wittenmeyer of the St.
Paul Pioneer Press about former Twins catcher Earl
Battey who has been a bit under the weather of late.

in the new book Classic Baseball: The Photographs of
Walter Iooss, Jr. It's one of the best baseball photos
I've ever seen.
