New Jersey Devils: Before this postseason, New Jersey's Jay Pandolfo had scored two playoff goals. He now has three in the 2003 playoffs as Pandolfo and linemate John Madden have become offensive threats in addition to their checking roles.

New York Islanders: Islanders captain Kenny Jonsson might not be back with the team next season if the team can't re-sign him well before training camp. The New York defenseman will be a restricted free agent and he told a Swedish newspaper he'd rather play in Europe instead of getting into a long contract squabble with the Isles.

Detroit Red Wings: Igor Larionov, the oldest player in the NHL at 42, hasn't been offered a contract yet by the Detroit Red Wings. The Russian legend will be an unrestricted free agent July 1 but money will be tight after Detroit was swept in the first round by Anaheim.
