Cleveland Browns: The uncertainty between QBs Tim Couch and Kelly Holcomb has stretched beyond the practice field. According to the Akron Beacon Journal the Browns have decided to put all four of their receivers on the cover of the media guide: Kevin Johnson, Quincy Morgan, Andre Davis and Dennis Northcutt& Draftee C Jeff Faine has looked solid in minicamp. All the No. 1 pick has to do is improve his snapping out of the shotgun, something he wasn't asked to do at Notre Dame. The Browns don't think that will be a problem.

Dallas Cowboys: Though the team signed Dallas Desperados WR on June 10, the AFL wideout won't be suiting up with the Cowboys this season. Under a new NFL rule, the three NFL teams that also own Arena Football League teams -- Dallas, Denver and Detroit -- must wait 10 days before any signing becomes official. The rule prevents the trio of teams from using the AFL teams in their back yards as their own personal minor league system. The Dallas Morning News reports the New Orleans Saints took full advantage of the 10-day waiting period and swooped in and signed Pettis over the weekend.

Atlanta Falcons: QB Mike Vick's endorsement calendar is filling up quickly. The third-year quarterback will soon appear in advertisements for Nerf footballs and he is also expected to reach an agreement soon with one of two memorabilia companies that submitted proposals to his agent. He might also agree to a deal allowing the use of his signature and likeness on an as-yet-unnamed regulation football. Plus, his stature within the Nike family is growing. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, although Vick is entering the third year of a four-year contract with Nike, the company is expected to re-work the contract to better compensate the star.
