St. Louis Blues: A Louisiana man was arrested Tuesday accused of identity theft and bank fraud after he allegedly set up credit card accounts in the name of St. Louis winger Keith Tkachuk. Police said the man also had identification with the names of Rangers defenseman Brian Leetch and Philadelphia forward Jeremy Roenick and had been convicted of filing false public records in 1995 for impersonating Tkachuk and another player.

Colorado Avalanche: Veteran checking forward Mike Keane's second stint with Colorado has come to an end. The three-time Stanley Cup winner had his contract bought out by the Avalanche and is now free to find work elsewhere.

New Jersey Devils: He was drafted behind the immortal Rocky Trottier in the first round of the 1982 draft and has lasted an amazing 20 seasons in the NHL with one team. As 39-year-old veteran defenseman Ken Daneyko prepares to announce his retirement Friday, the New Jersey Devils owe it to their longtime warrior to retire his No. 3 sweater.
