Colorado Avalanche: Alex Tanguay remains as Colorado's only unsigned player, and there's no telling when the restricted free agent will re-sign. Having Bob Sauve, a former business partner of Avs GM Pierre Lacroix, as an agent doesn't hurt matters although Sauve told the Denver Post that relationship doesn't matter. Nashville Predators: Kimmo Timonen will likely soon become the highest-paid skater on the Nashville Predators. Timmonen is scheduled to have an arbitration hearing Friday, and he could be awarded nearly $3 million if the Predators don't sign him before any ruling. Boston Bruins: The Bruins still want to re-sign Bryan Berard after walking away from an arbitrator's ruling, but the defenseman's agent says he still doesn't like what Boston is offering. "I fully expect that this isn't going to happen overnight," Berard's agent, Tom Laidlaw, told the Boston Herald about his client signing with the Bruins or another team.
