The Pistons and Warriors consumated a trade Thursday that helps Detroit in a couple of respects but appears to be a mixed-bag for Golden State.

The Pistons sent forward Cliff Robinson to Golden State for veteran combo guard Bob Sura. Pepe Sanchez also goes from Detroit to Golden State to make the numbers work under the collective bargaining agreement.

"We feel this is a tremendous addition to our team," GM Garry St. Jean said in a statement. "Cliff Robinson was a starter for a team in the Eastern Conference Finals last season and has been a winner his entire career. Additionally, he is an excellent defensive player and will provide some quality depth to our team."
