Baltimore Orioles: Some might call it thinking ahead but not Mike Mussina of the Yankees. The Hurricane Isabel-inspired decision to move up the starting time for tonight's game at Camden Yards incensed the scheduled starter, former Oriole Mike Mussina. "Those of us who are traveling would like to play [last night's] game, cancel [today's] and let us go where we are going. There will be 40- to 50-mph wind gusts and the rain will be coming down sideways and 250 people will be in the stands who will be enjoying the game," he told George King of the New York Post. The Phillies have also jumped the starting time of their game against the Marlins in anticipation of the storm.

Minnesota Twins: Isn't it interesting that when a team cannot get someone to pay for a new stadium, the next step is create an even more expensive project? The latest plan for the Twins includes a vast $600 housing development adjacent to a 40,000-seat open air ballpark writes Neal St. Anthony of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
