Penny or Joe? That's the question Suns coach Frank Johnson is mulling. Last season the Suns were 34-24 when Penny Hardaway was in the lineup. They were 10-14 without him. Penny's willingness to be a distributor and role player on the Suns made him popular with Johnson last year.

But this summer, Joe Johnson took another step toward being a star. His stellar and consistent play in the summer league and preseason have Suns fans wondering ... is this the year Joe dethrones Penny?
