The premier matchup this Sunday is between the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins. For starters, it's the only game that features two teams with winning records. You also have Brian Griese, who with another stellar performance could to steal Jay Fiedler's job away from him. But the most intriguing subplot is the one that pits Ricky Williams and Edgerrin James against each another.

There is the obvious tie that binds them. The Colts surprised everyone and selected James ahead of Williams, who was taken just one spot later. And then there is the way their careers have flip-flopped. At first, James was the immediate star and led the league in rushing while Williams dealt with nagging injuries. Now, Williams is the defending rushing champion and James can't seem to keep himself on the field.

Edgerrin James
Edgerrin James' receiving skills could give the Colts an edge against the Dolphins.
But hype aside, this is the matchup that will eventually decide the game. Peyton Manning is a candidate for league MVP, but over his last five games against the Dolphins he has a passer rating of 70.6. He'll need James to do something that no other running back has been able to do with much success against the Dolphins' rush defense -- move the ball.
