Philadelphia 76ers: Glenn Robinson may have fallen out of the frying pan and into the fire. The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that the small forward may be coming off a league suspension but may miss more games because of a sprained ankle. "He's had some good practices," new head coach Randy Ayers said. "I thought he did a nice job of trying to keep himself focused. We played him a lot with the backups in practice. He's pretty good - I know that. He can score."
Detroit Pistons: It isn't seventy percent, yet. But, thank goodness it isn't 50 percent, either. "I think we are at about 60 percent of what we can be," Chucky Atkins said in the Detroit News. "The production from the bench still hasn't been there like we had it last year. And we haven't all been on the same page, yet." Chauncey Billups also held tight to the company line. "I'd say we were in the 60-percent range in terms of our efficiency," Billups said. "You look at us some times and we're like at 80 or 85 percent. You look at us another time and we're like 40 percent. We are going to have to deal with these speed bumps from time to time. All we can do is play the right way and do things to win the games."
