American League

Boston Red Sox: The Sox will have one, perhaps two visitors to Fenway today. The one they know about for certain is managerial candidate DeMarlo Hale. The other is former A's closer Keith Foulke who is out and about, thanks to free agency. Jeff Horrigan of the Boston Herald also writes that it is hoped Andy Pettitte will drop by Fenway soon.

Cleveland Indians: Surprise! The agent for Danys Baez is hacked off at the Indians for jerking around his client this winter. Paul Hoynes of the Plain Dealer writes that Mark Cubas -- Baez's agent -- believes the team is trying to circumvent the rules so that they do not have to pay his client the $4.1 million he is owed for 2004. He would be willing to take less, apparently, but only if he is inked to a long-term deal. ""Danys has made it clear that he would like to stay in Cleveland," Cubas told Hoynes. "He bought a home in Cleveland."
