With Hambrick, who has yet to prove he can carry the load, becoming a free agent, there has been much speculation, especially with someone like Corey Dillon expected to be available. But recently, Hambrick has put himself in position
to keep his spot in the starting backfield.
Hambrick has performed well in his last two outings, gaining 264 yards on 50
carries. In the six games previous to that he accumulated only 227 yards on
76 carries. His spike in production couldn't have come at a better time
in the eyes of coach Bill Parcells.
