Denver run offense vs. Indianapolis run defense
Clinton Portis is expected to play after missing time with a high-ankle sprain and knee injury. Whether he is 100 percent is another matter. FB Mike Anderson and RB Quentin Griffin have done a nice job in his place, as it seems the Broncos never run out of quality backs.

Much of the credit should go to an athletic offensive line that has been opening holes, no matter who is lined up in the backfield. However, the speed and explosiveness of Portis is what really differentiates the Broncos' running game. No one is quicker to the hole and able to cut back against the grain as effortlessly as he does.
