Thanks to a dramatic ending, Sunday's Super Bowl will go down as one of the greatest ever. But even without the suspense of the final few minutes, the game was still compelling because of the constant barrage of big plays.

One of the players who grabbed the national spotlight was Steve Smith.

Smith may have had only had four catches, but three of them were highlight material. Smith made an excellent move on his 39-yard touchdown reception that allowed him to get off the line freely. On two other catches he displayed the ability to go up and catch the ball at its highest point despite tight coverage.

General managers around the league were looking at his performance closely, because he is now a restricted free agent. And what they saw could convince them that Smith could be this year's Laveranues Coles.
