Ravens need a big-play receiver
Wide receiver: In an effort to stop Jamal Lewis, Baltimore opponents run a lot of eight-man fronts, leaving the Ravens' wide receivers in many single-coverage matchups on the perimeter. The Ravens have trouble taking advantage, though, because they don't have receivers who can stretch opposing defenses.
Marcus Robinson was a factor in 2003, but he is a free agent and isn't the long-term answer. Travis Taylor has been up and down, and he simply drops too many passes. The Ravens need a receiver who can deliver big vertical plays and force defenses to think twice about trying to get away with man-to-man coverage schemes.
