LSU had some mixed results at its Pro Day, with close to 100 NFL officials in attendance. WR Devery Henderson (5112, 196) had the best day of the Tigers, running 4.33 and 4.36 in his two 40-yard dash attempts. Michael Clayton, as expected, ran in the mid 4.5s. DT Chad Lavalais had a decent workout. He ran a best of 5.04 in the 40, had a 25-inch vertical jump and ran the short shuttle in 4.62, all respectable results. However, it was disappointing that he only completed 17 reps on the bench press (225 pounds). Finally, DE Marquise Hill was the big loser of the afternoon. Hill checked in 10 pounds lighter (296), which led scouts to believe he took off the weight to run a faster 40-time, but he ran two marginal times of 5.22 and 5.30.
