Nashville Predators: Steve Sullivan couldn't miss when he was acquired by the Nashville Predators in a midseason trade. Sullivan hasn't scored a goal in the past 10 games, a bad time to go cold as the Predators fight for one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference. He missed two breakaways Tuesday night against Chicago, but it didn't matter as Nashville won 5-2.

New York Islanders: New York Islanders head coach Steve Stirling hopes Alexei Yashin, Oleg Kvasha and Mariusz Czerkawski can rekindle the magic they had in the first month of the season when they are reunited Wednesday night against Montreal. The move is an attempt to spark Yashin, who has been mostly ineffective since returning from forearm surgery 11 games ago.

Vancouver Canucks: It's déjà vu all over again for Vancouver. The Canucks are in Anaheim with three games left to play in the season, just like last year. But this time instead of trying to protect a lead in the Northwest Division, they are pursuing the Colorado Avalanche and appear to be building better momentum than a year ago.
