Cincinnati Bengals: The team received good news Thursday when the case against LT Levi Jones was dismissed. Jones, 24, and his brother, Fred Robinson, both were charged with a Class D misdemeanor for interfering with a police officer in the hours immediately after the Super Bowl in Houston. Police had said Jones tried to take a nightstick from a police officer and had to be wrestled to the ground. "There is no conviction," Joe Bailey, Jones' attorney, told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "The prosecutor said there was no evidence to support the claims."

Cleveland Browns: The agent for WR Dennis Northcutt threatened that his client would never play for the Cleveland Browns under any circumstances, and Northcutt feels so strongly about the subject that he is backing the claim personally. "I may set foot in Browns Stadium again, but never again in a Browns uniform," Northcutt told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I love the fans and I love the city, but I just do not want to be in Cleveland anymore," said Northcutt, speaking publicly for the first time since the incident occurred. "I feel they're trying to hurt me professionally, and I could never play for them again." Northcutt said he tried to call Browns President Carmen Policy at least 10 times since losing out on free agency and coach Butch Davis a few times, but said neither would call him back. Instead he attended USC's Pro Day last week and cornered Davis and told him he wanted out.

Miami Dolphins: LB Eddie Moore was arrested and hospitalized briefly Saturday morning after a fight at a local nightclub. Moore, the team's second-round pick in 2003, missed all of last season because of a foot injury. ''We're aware of the incident, we're investigating it, and we've notified the league,'' team spokesman Harvey Greene told the Miami Herald. "However, since it's in the judicial system, we will not have a comment until its resolution.'' During the altercation Moore was briefly knocked unconscious, and sustained a half-inch cut on his lip. He was held to the ground by club security until police officers arrived.
