Calgary Flames: Calgary center Craig Conroy has more stitches than he can count after his face ran into Canucks goalie Johan Hedberg's stick while clearing the puck Sunday. "I've got 'em inside, I've got 'em all over the place. They just kept puttin' them in and I just kept watching the game (on TV) as they were puttin' them in," Conroy told the Calgary Sun.

Tampa Bay Lightning: Goalie Nikolai Khabibulin isn't the only member of the Lightning with something to prove in the playoffs. Center Brad Richards finally got his first playoff goal, the winner, Monday night in Tampa Bay's 3-0 victory over the New York Islanders in Game 3. Richards also had two assists.

Boston Bruins: Joe Thornton didn't take a day off Monday when the Bruins had an optional practice. That and the fact he's been playing with an apparent torn rib cartilage are admirable while the Boston captain tries to find his groove in Game 3 against Montreal on Tuesday night.
