Colorado Avalanche: Colorado's chances for a comeback from a 3-0 series deficit against San Jose will be even more unlikely if the Avalanche don't get Rob Blake back for Game 4 on Wednesday night. Blake injured his right arm Monday night while checking the Sharks' Jonathan Cheechoo in the first period of Game 3.

San Jose Sharks: Growing up in Kazakhstan, San Jose's Evgeni Nabokov didn't learn the quoteworthy style of Yogi Berra. So we'll let the Sharks goalie come up with his own way to describe the comfort of a 3-0 series lead over the Colorado Avalanche. "Until it's over, I'm not going to tell you it's over," Nabokov told the San Jose Mercury News.

Montreal Canadiens: Montreal defenseman Sheldon Souray hasn't been the same since a midseason knee injury. The Canadiens blue-liner, whose penalty and turnover led to two Tampa Bay goals in the Lightning's 3-1 Game 2 victory, tried to shake off his poor play by taking part in an optional skate Monday before the Habs try to cut Tampa Bay's 2-0 series lead Tuesday night.
