Tampa Bay Lightning: Focusing on just the one game they need to reach the Stanley Cup finals will be a tough challenge for the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night against the Flyers. "It's tough to not think about it. Nobody prepares you for this. There's nothing that prepares you for this until you go through it. I don't care how many games you've won during the regular season or how many series you've won, when you get this close," Lightning forward Martin St. Louis told The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Philadelphia Flyers: Philadelphia must improve upon its power play that has gone 1-for-23 through five games of the Eastern Conference finals. Head coach Ken Hitchcock said Philadelphia's power play, which was one of the best in the NHL during the regular season, needs to change its execution. "Our problem on the power play in the series is that we have not moved well with the puck, and we have to change that. And that's not really strategy or anything." Hitchcock told The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Calgary Flames: Call him "The Eliminator" or "Mr. Clutch." For the third consecutive round, Calgary's Martin Gelinas scored the series-clinching goal for the Flames. Against the Sharks in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals Thursday night, however, the veteran forward had to wait to see if his second-period marker would hold up.
