Calgary Flames: The Flames knew they couldn't win the game, so late in the third period of Thursday night's 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay they stepped up their physical play and sought retribution for a couple of liberties they believed the Lightning had taken in the Stanley Cup finals, which are tied 1-1. Just enough to simmer the animosity before Game 3 on Saturday at Calgary.

Tampa Bay Lightning: Lightning defenseman Brad Lukowich has a lot of friends in Calgary asking if he could get them tickets to Games 3 and 4. Even if he could get more than the ones for his immediate family, he'd probably think twice about helping out his friends, who have no shame in admitting they're pulling for the Flames.

New York Islanders: New York Islanders GM Mike Milbury isn't happy with the status quo. After three consecutive first-round playoff losses, Milbury expects to revamp his lineup this offseason. "You can't keep giving people raises; you can't keep dipping into the well and rewarding mediocrity. We're an average payroll team with average results," Milbury told Newsday.
