Garnett ahead of the pack

After watching Kevin Garnett, you begin to wonder if any player making $28 million a year might deserve a raise.

In the time it takes you to read this story, Kevin Garnett could have tallied 2.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists like he did against the Denver Nuggets in the first round of these playoffs.

Read the story again and he might log another 1.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists like he did against the Sacramento Kings in the second round.

The reigning MVP has already scored more points than any other player in the NBA during the regular season and in the playoffs. He has grabbed more rebounds than any other player in the regular season and playoffs. And tonight he will play in his third elimination game of the postseason, perhaps playing another 46 of 48 minutes.
