Buckeyes keep it in the family

May, 10, 2007
The Ohio State Buckeyes have received a very early verbal commitment from one of the top prospects in the Class of 2010 (current freshmen) 6-7, 225-pound power forward Jared Sullinger from nearby Columbus Northland Senior High School.

Sullinger is physcially-dominating big man who was outstanding two weeks ago playing for Team Ohio Red in the King James Shootout. He suffered a stress fracture during the event and will be out of action until late June or early July. Nonetheless, Sullinger will likely become an outstanding power forward for the Buckeyes.
