Former Fordham pledge Armand picks Iona

When Tim Cluess was named the new head coach at Iona, one of his first acts was to hire former Fordham interim head coach Jared Grasso as his top assistant.

That hire recently resulted in Cluess' first commitment at Iona as Sean Armand, who was previously committed to Grasso at Fordham, made a verbal commitment to Iona on Monday and signed his National Letter of Intent on Tuesday.

"We're extremely excited to have Sean on board next season," Cluess said. "Sean is a fine young man that adds scoring dimension to an already talented roster and we look forward to having him in the program this fall."
