PG Taylor, PF Lewis on the rise

May, 13, 2010
With a number of spring events in the books and many more to follow, here is a quick look at two players that have caught my eye more than once and are defeinitely on the rise.

Stevie Taylor (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln)
2011, PG, 5-foot-9, 150 pounds
He is quick, extremely skilled and can score at a high rate with range beyond the arc. The All-Ohio Red floor general can also run the offense and get others involved. He is slight and needs to add strength, but he is a terrific finisher. Taylor plays with great confidence and competes on both ends of the floor.

"Stevie is a gym rat. He has a great work ethic and has done a terrific job honing his skills over the years," said Rob Taylor, his father. "He works out constantly, twice a day at times. Stevie is in the gym on Holidays and takes full advantage of his access to the gym."
