Fred Hoiberg has brought the "magic" back to Hilton Coliseum and Iowa State Cyclones basketball.
Nicknamed "The Mayor," Hoiberg grew up in Ames and played for both Johnny Orr and Tim Floyd. Now, as the coach of the Cyclones, Hoiberg has led his team to three consecutive NCAA tournaments and has developed a program capable of continued success.
