Duquesne has fired men's basketball coach Jim Ferry after five seasons, the school announced Monday.
Ferry, 49, was 50-75 during his first four seasons with the Dukes, including an 18-50 record in the Atlantic 10. This year's group went 10-22 overall and 3-15 in the league, losing 14 of its final 15 games.
Ferry spent 10 seasons at LIU Brooklyn before moving to Duquesne, going 150-149 and reaching the NCAA tournament his final two seasons with the Blackbirds. Prior to that, Ferry was at Adelphi for three seasons and Plymouth State for one season.
Ferry was given a seven-year contract when hired.
